Live from Fez

A Fez kitchen, in your kitchen

You cannot always get to Fez. This brings a Fassi kitchen to yours: a live, private video class with a home cook in the medina, cooking the same three things in real time, in your kitchen, at your pace.

A few days before the class we send you a shopping list with substitutions for everything that is hard to find outside Morocco, so you are not hunting for smen or ras el hanout the night before. On the day we connect, set the camera so you can actually see the pan, and cook together: a tagine built in proper layers, khobz bread kneaded and baked in a domestic oven, and mint tea poured the way it is poured here.

It is a conversation as much as a lesson. You ask questions, your cook answers them, and you stop when you need to. Classes run in English, French or Arabic, and they work for one person or for a family spread across three countries on the same call. We record it if you want, and you keep the recipes.

Plenty of guests book this before they travel, as a way to arrive in Fez already knowing what they are eating, and plenty book it afterwards because they want to make it again at home. Both work.
