Fez Like Locals is a small, licensed travel agency based inside Fes el-Bali. We are not a booking platform and we do not resell other people’s tours. Every experience on this site is run by people we know personally — guides, drivers, cooks and craftsmen who live in this city and were, in most cases, born in it.

We started because of a pattern we kept seeing. Visitors would arrive in Fez for two nights, be walked through the same four monuments in a group of thirty, be delivered to a carpet showroom for an hour they had not asked for, and leave thinking Fez was overwhelming. It is not overwhelming. It is simply a city that does not explain itself to strangers, and it needs somebody to open the first door.

So we build days instead of tours. Everything we run is private — your group only, never merged with strangers. Our guides are licensed by the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism and work in English, French and Arabic. Our family partners are chosen because they are good at what they do, not because they pay us a referral fee, and we take no commission from any workshop or shop in the medina. That one decision changes the entire shape of a day.

Prices are given per vehicle or per group wherever we can, in writing, before you commit — and nothing is charged online. You reserve, we confirm the final price, and you pay on the day. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before. We answer messages ourselves, usually within the hour, and somebody is reachable on WhatsApp for the whole time you are in Morocco.
