About the Fez Through the Lens
The Fez medina is one of the most photogenic places in Morocco and one of the hardest to shoot well. The alleys are narrow and dim, the contrast is brutal at midday, and the best vantage points are behind doors you would never think to knock on. This walk is built around solving exactly those problems.
Your guide is a local who knows which terrace catches the morning light, which lane glows in the late afternoon, and how to ask for a portrait in a way that gets a yes. The route runs at photographer’s pace — slow, with time to wait for a frame — and works just as well with a phone as with a full camera bag.
