Taste of Fez
A guided tasting route through the medina's stalls and specialties.
Free cancellation

Your day starts in a working Fez market, choosing the day's produce with your host. You'll learn why saffron is weighed like gold, which olives belong in which dish, and how to spot the freshest herbs before anyone else does.
Then it's into a real family kitchen: build a tagine from the bottom up, knead bread for the neighborhood oven, and pour your first proper mint tea. Lunch is served on the rooftop, looking out over the medina you just shopped in.
Meet your host at your riad and walk into the morning medina together.
Choose produce, olives, preserved lemons and spices stall by stall.
Prep and layer your tagine, knead the bread dough, then send it to the communal oven.
Eat what you cooked, family style, with salads and bread still hot from the ferran.
Learn the three pours of mint tea and go home with the recipes written down.
